Caves d'Esparross

The Gouffre d'ESPARROS , in the heart of the unspoiled Baronnies valley in the Pyrenees, is one of the most beautiful places to visit.

Classified as a Natural Site by ministerial decree dated October 30, 1987, due to the high concentration of aragonite crystals which are among the most beautiful concretions in the world.

During the visit of the Gouffre d'ESPARROS,  you will discover 600 m of caves which extend towards a mysterious world, with a known network of more than 3 kilometres .

“Twenty years from now you will
be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.

So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

― Mark Twain
