The Hotel offers spectacular views of both the Mediterranean Sea and city. The hotel is located in a historical building built in Montjuic for the 1929 World Fair. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens home to typical Mediterranean varieties of trees, designed by Forestier.
The original building has been carefully restored, maintaining much of its original features and charm, in order to turn it into this unique, exquisite and beautiful hotel together with the luxury and exclusiveness of the AC Selection.
The restoration was done by the well-known architect Oscar Tusquets Blanca. There are multiple conference rooms, including one with a 250-person capacity with natural lighting, which looks over the hotel’s gardens.

One of the most recent members of the prestigious SLH (Small Luxury Hotels of the World) group, the Miramar is attractively located right next to the Montjuïc i Llobera Botanical Gardens, overlooking both the city and the Mediterranean. Originally a 1920s palace, it was imaginatively restored and converted into a hotel in 2006, retaining the privacy, style, and charm of the original building while introducing bright avant-garde decor and state-of-the-art amenities that include well-equipped conference salons (one of which is integrated into the hotel's gardens). At mealtimes the Forestier restaurant, adjoining the former palace's secluded Patio de los Naranjos (Orange Tree Courtyard), provides a creative blend of Catalan and international dishes. The comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms all have en-suite bathrooms and terraces and enjoy garden or panoramic sea views. Some have wheelchair accessibility.
